For those of you with a penchant for old English literature and a fascination with zombies, I’ve got just the book for you: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. That’s right – I’m not joking, they’ve really re-written the book of Pride and Prejudice, but given it a zombie twist.

On the topic of literature, the website WordCount.org have put together a listing of 86,800 most frequently used words in the English language and ranked them in order of use. I can’t help but feel bad for the word ‘conquistador’ as it comes-in last place.

And last, but certainly not least, the following vid had me literally in tears, although due to it containing more swear words than a dinner with Gordon Ramsey, make sure you have headphones if you listen to this at work. And if you don’t like rude words, then you probably shouldn’t watch. I must admit, I haven’t heard that many F-bombs dropped since someone walked through Christian Bale’s scene.

Sony Releases New Stupid Piece Of Shit That Doesn’t Fucking Work

It was written about a year (or more) ago, so you may have already seen it, but I thought it was pretty funny.

Kanye West blames Gmail hijack for bisexual porn hoax – I’m sharing this purely for the headline which I think is brilliant, but unfortunately the article attached wasn’t quit as good.

And for those of you wanting to know how to make it big with eBay, here’s an illustrated guide that might help.

The pics are obviously Photoshopped, but the whole concept of Lego porn got me thinking.  At first, I thought it was awesome, but then I realised, all those pointy edges could prove problematic… and I’d be screwed (no pun intended) if the construction was to fall apart as I’d have no hope of re-building something like that.

Come to think of it, I’d probably do what I did when I was a kid playing with Lego.  Instead of building what I’m supposed to, I’d end-up creating a 12 legged mega-structure with flashing lights for eyes and guns and chainsaws at the end of it’s arms… and these guns would shoot lightning and shurikens – well, in my head they would.

This German guy (not only has a cool name… Peter Fox) but also has a really interesting musical sound – it has a thick classical (almost baroque) feel backed by some great percussion and finished off with a touch of pop.  Since it’s all in German, I have no idea what he’s singing about, but my ears like it.  Have a listen to a few sample tracks on his site: http://www.peterfox.de

The premise of the site is truly ingenious – they’ve made the page look like a standard Windows desktop with folders containing ‘what appear to be’ PowerPoint presentations when in fact, these faux presentations actually contain the text of classic novels, poems and other literature provided by the NZ Book Council.

Anyways… that’s enough about StumbleUpon… In my social media pursuits, I’ve now become addicted to the micro-blogging site: Twitter

Twitter is a site where you post short messages (140 characters or less) about what you’re doing. You can ‘follow’ the activities of other Twitter users, so you get to see what they are up to, and if you want, you can add your own comments or reply to what others have written.

So what’s the point?

Sometimes I find a cool site or discover something interesting that I want to share with others, but it really doesn’t justify a full blog post. This is where Twitter is ideal. I keep it running in the background and whenever I have something short and sweet that I want to share, it goes on there.

It’s also great for networking with other Social Media users. Many of the people I follow on Twitter are the owners of SEO blogs I read and it gives me chance to interact and get to know these people better.

So, if you aren’t as geeky as me, then you may not find it useful or even interesting… but otherwise, feel free to follow me on Twitter.
