On Mother’s Day we spent lunch with my family. The last time our family gathered was at Easter and as this wasn’t long after Mum & Dad had moved into their new house, we took the opportunity to try-out the various facilities of their new “lifestyle / retirement village”.
We played pool / billiards and darts… and Mum kicked all our butts in darts which was the biggest surprise for the day.
So, for Mother’s Day my brother and sister-in-law, Brett and Lyndal, bought Mum her own set of darts.
It was a really fun afternoon and I can officially add both darts and billiards to games that I absolutely suck at. I think I’ll stick to doing lawn bowls with Dad - which reminds me, I’m still yet to try-out the new green at their place.
