Lots of movies over the holidays

Saw lots of movies over the holidays so here they are:

DOA : Dead or Alive
Chaos
Art School Confidential
You, Me and Dupree
Fearless
Night at the Museum
The Sentinel
Fast and the Furious – Tokyo Drift
The Devil Wears Prada

DOA : Dead or Alive … Turn your brains off and sit back and enjoy – what the movie lacked in storyline and originality, it definitely made-up for with hot chicks kicking asses!

Chaos… A really well done cop movie with some great twists staring Ryan Phillippe and Jason Statham – to be honest with you, I didn’t expect this to be any good and I was really surprised and quite impressed.

Art School Confidential… this movie is an hour-and-a-half of stereotypes and cliches meant to be a quirky dark comedy but really didn’t deliver.

You, Me and Dupree… Owen Wilson doing what he does best – if you like him and his movies you’ll probably get a few laughs from this one.

Fearless… this film tells the true story of Chinese Martial Arts Master Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910). Huo Yuanjia was the founder and spiritual guru of the Jin Wu Sports Federation – a really well told, motivational story with some beautifully crafted fight sequences.

Night at the Museum… one of the best flicks I’ve seen in ages – it combined the perfect blend of seamless special effects with a fantastic story!

The Sentinel… A disgraced special agent to the White House endeavors to foil a conspiracy to assassinate the U.S. President – not bad, but the plot wasn’t brilliant and the movie played-out more like a long TV drama (and after looking into it I discovered this is probably because 90% of the work done by this directory was TV).

Fast and the Furious – Tokyo Drift… had fast cars and some hot chicks, but really didn’t do anything for me.

The Devil Wears Prada… a lot better than I expected but still very-much a chick-flick – I’m honestly amazed at how intense the fashion industry can really be (and I still honesty don’t grasp the concept of a thousand dollar handbag or girls not eating for a week to fit into a few pieces of material artistically strung together)… but I guess that’s what makes me a heterosexual male.

How Fast Do You Like It?

Who would ever forget the car-studded sequel of the film “The Fast and the Furious” and one previous to “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”? The 2003 “2 Fast 2 Furious” truly marked a great significance in all car enthusiasts in the world.
