Turning Passion into Profit – Creative Entrepreneur Panel

Posted on Thursday 31 August 2006

Lastnight I attended another Networx Marketing event titled: Turning Passion into Profit – Creative Entrepreneur Panel. It was at Uber at West End (which I had never been to before, but will definitely go to again as it’s quite funky).

The panelists were:

Kelly Baker, Director – Edible Blooms
Tiffany Wood, Managing Director – TONI&GUY The Valley
Brett Hooker, CEO – Sauce Software

Even though I didn’t really need any motivation about starting my own business and I found myself empathising with the speakers’ challenges instead of finding them educational – but the night was still fantastic. I met a bunch of new people, and caught-up with a few from the last event, but most importantly had a great time improving my networking skills.

Here’s a (pretty terrible) pic of me from the event, with Amanda (from Aquent) and Lisa (from Networx)… and if you want to see more, go to: http://www.icebergevents.com.au/iceberggallery.htm
