For the last few of years I’ve been managing (as well as being a director of) a Brisbane-based web hosting company called Ingenuity Hosting.
My work consists of provisioning web hosting and email services, registering and managing domain names, troubleshooting various email and web related issues for my clients, optimising websites so that they can be found more readily by search engines (a technique known as “Search Engine Optimisation” – SEO) as well as doing some basic web development work and general IT consulting. When I’m not doing these things, you’ll find me working on the day-to-day administrative tasks involved with running a business.
Throughout this section of the DodgyPete.com blog, you’ll see articles and general information that pertains to the web hosting, domain name & SEO industries (and I’ll probably throw-in a few other IT related articles from time-to-time).
